- Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs): This is the non-negotiable foundation. It also covers the documentation side: 21 CFR 111.14(b)(2) requires a record of each training, including the date, the type of training, and the people trained.

- General Safety & Hazard Communication: This includes OSHA standards, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), chemical safety for cleaning agents, and emergency procedures. Chemical hazard training follows the Hazard Communication Standard as updated in May 2024 to align with GHS Revision 7, so employees are retrained on the revised labels and safety data sheets ahead of the November 20, 2026 employer compliance date for hazardous substances.
- Company Quality Policies & SOPs: Employees are thoroughly trained on KorNutra's specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to their work area, ensuring uniformity and compliance.
Role-Specific Technical Training
Beyond the core curriculum, employees receive targeted training for their specific positions:
- Production Operators: Training on specific machinery (depositors, cooling tunnels, coating pans), batch record documentation, in-process quality checks, and proper weighing and measuring techniques.
- Quality Assurance/Control (QA/QC): Intensive training on analytical methods, instrumentation (for testing potency, moisture, etc.), sensory evaluation, documentation review, and release criteria.
- Sanitation Crews: Specialized training on master sanitation schedules, approved cleaning agents, clean-in-place (CIP) systems, and environmental monitoring.
- Warehouse & Logistics: Training in proper material handling, FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory control, and storage condition monitoring (temperature, humidity).
Ongoing & Refresher Training
Training does not end after initial certification. KorNutra implements a culture of continuous improvement through:

Under 21 CFR 111.12(c), everyone in manufacturing, packaging, labeling, holding, or quality control must have the education, training, or experience to do their assigned function, and the record of each training is what proves it. A brand partner auditing our facility can ask to see those records for the team that runs its products. We also retain documentation for annual cGMP refreshers and for retraining triggered by SOP changes or new equipment, so the paper trail matches what happened on the floor.
