From a production standpoint, depositing a hot, liquid gummy mixture directly onto a delicate core introduces more than just moisture issues. The heat can cause nuts to release oils that rancidify faster, melt sugar-based brittles, or even partially cook the inclusion. Ensuring an even, centered coating without air pockets demands highly specialized machinery that must operate at speeds too slow for mass-market viability. Shelf-Life Realities

Accelerated shelf-life tests consistently show that gummies with crunchy centers degrade within weeks at ambient temperatures.
